In 2025, the Malvern Historical Society purchased the historic Poort’s Garage, which will become a museum, event space, community hub, and a center for preserving and digitizing artifacts. At the same time, we are building a digital archive, making Malvern’s history accessible to anyone, anywhere. Together, these efforts create a museum for the future, preserving our stories both physically and digitally for generations to come.

While the physical museum is being developed, we are building the Malvern Digital Archive, an evolving collection of historic photographs, artifacts, stories, people, places, businesses, and memories connected across Malvern’s history.
Over time, the archive will grow into an interactive timeline of Malvern, allowing visitors to explore how the community has changed from its earliest days to the present.
Preserving What Matters Before It’s Lost Many of Malvern’s stories exist only in old photos, memories, and personal collections. Without action, these pieces of history risk being lost forever.
The Malvern Museum, both physical and digital, ensures that future generations can learn from and connect with the people, places, and events that shaped this community.
